An Interview with Christian Author Sharon Srock

As the holiday season approaches, we have the privilege of sitting down with Christian author Sharon Srock, known for her inspirational stories about ordinary women with extraordinary faith. Pull up a chair and join us by the fire and get to know Sharon a bit better as we discuss her holiday traditions, her writing space, and how her Christian faith deeply influences her work.

Michelle: Sharon, welcome! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. If you decorate for Christmas, have you already begun?

Sharon: I am definitely a one-holiday-at-a-time person. For me, that means the tree always goes up on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It's a special tradition that marks the beginning of the Christmas season in our home.

Michelle: What does your writing space look like, and does it get a holiday glow-up as well?

Sharon: My writing space is my sanctuary, a she-shed, if you will. It's carpeted, insulated, wired with AC and heat, and it even has purple walls, my calm color. However, I don't decorate that space. It's my year-round creative haven, and I like to keep it consistent.

Michelle: So, what are you currently working on when you're in your creative haven?

Sharon: I'm currently immersed in writing "Ruthie, Crafted with Love," which is Book 7 in the series. It's scheduled for release on April 30, 2024, and I'm excited to share this story with my readers. You can find more details about it here.

Michelle: Oh, that's exciting! Do you have a book you are promoting right now, holiday sale, or simply recommended reading from your catalog?

Sharon: Absolutely! I have a special promotion right now on a boxed set that includes the first three books in the Crafted with Love series. You can get it for just 99 cents. It's a great opportunity to dive into the series and get to know these characters better. Check it out here. I also have two books that readers can get for free with their newsletter subscription. For Mercie's Sake (https://dl.bookfunnel.com/4zx1utehnu ) and they can visit my website to pick up a copy of BEGINNINGS.

Michelle: Sounds fabulous, thanks for sharing! Okay, I'm really curious about some Sharon info. I like to ask for these five fast favorites:

  • Color: Purple
  • Season: Sweater
  • Animal: Cat
  • Beverage: Raspberry tea
  • Movie quote: "There are always possibilities."

Michelle: Sweater, ha! I love that! Aside from writing, do you have any other hobbies or creative outlets that you enjoy pursuing?

Sharon: I love to play in the kitchen. Baking, in particular, is a passion of mine. There's something special about creating delicious treats that bring joy to others.

Michelle: Mm, I agree. Delicious treats bring ME joy! :) If you were to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?

Sharon: Organized, disciplined, and a creature of habit.

Michelle: Sharon, how does your Christian faith influence or weave into your writing?

Sharon: My faith is at the core of my writing. My stories revolve around ordinary women who rely on their extraordinary faith to overcome challenges. You'll always find a nice scriptural presence in my books, and these women constantly teach me about faith as I write their journeys.

Michelle: It's amazing how God can use the fictional characters we come up with ourselves to speak to us. Would you share something that the Lord has been teaching you recently?

Sharon: Trust. I've always been a bit of a worrier, and my upbringing encouraged independence. It's been a lesson to put things in God's hands and learn to walk away, trusting that He's in control. Sometimes I catch myself thinking He needs my input, but I'm learning to let go and trust Him completely.

Michelle: So many of us fall into that category and need to learn the same lesson. I'm so encouraged to hear that you are being grown in that area, and to remember that God is always faithful to continue the work He began in us. Thank you so much for this visit today, Sharon. God bless your journey!

Interview with Author T.K. Chapin

Meet Ben Chapin (T.K. Chapin)

Today, I have Ben Chapin (known as T.K. Chapin) visiting and I'm thrilled to invite you to sit in on our conversation. Ben is a bestselling author who has written more than sixty books in the Christian fiction genre. He has sold over a million copies of his books worldwide and has a loyal fan base. So, pull up a chair and settle in for a treat.

Michelle: Ben, you've written over 60 books?!

Ben: Yes, and I'd love to invite everyone to download a free copy of one of my novel When Broken Roads Lead Home.

Michelle: Thank you! I can't wait to read it. But I'm still stuck on that number. SIXTY books?? How do you come up with so many story ideas?

BenStory ideas for me come one of two ways. First, real life situations I have experienced or seen. That’s the start of an idea and then I think up an entire story plot from there. The second way I do story ideas is to take other stories that already exist and completely change them into something new. An example of this is the movie Enough. It’s a story about a woman who ran away from an abusive husband and relocated across the country to start over. He ends up coming for her. I took that idea and made One Thursday Morning. If you’ve read the book and seen the movie, you can see they’re completely different from each other.

Michelle: Oh, they're very different! Your stories are overflowing with messages of faith and your writing is unmistakable. Sounds like you've perfected the art.

Ben: No matter how many stories I write, my wife or editor finds a “your” that is used wrong in my manuscript. I can’t help but laugh because it doesn’t matter how hard I try to make it perfect, there’s always at least one. I think it’s God’s way of keeping me humble.

Michelle: (laughs) That's hilarious. It's good to have a sense of humor about it. And I'm glad to know I'm in good company when it comes to that! For a reader picking up one of your books for the first time, what should they expect to find in its pages?

Ben: Forgiveness, redemption, and second chances are big in my stories. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, and that theme is reflected in my books. I also like to explore the idea of faith and how it can help people overcome difficult situations.

Michelle: Beautiful. I know that resonates with a lot of our readers. I'm curious about your process. Would you call yourself a Pantser or a Plotter?

Ben: I used to be a pantser, but now I plot everything.

Michelle: Do you plot in the wee hours or in the dead of night?

Ben: Morning 100%, I try to get to bed by 9pm at the latest.

Michelle: (laughs) Bruh. We could never be friends. Just kidding! If a friend came over to visit, what would they find you doing? How do you spend your free time?

Ben: I play video games in my free time, I enjoy anything to do with water, I lead a Small Group at my house on Thursday nights and Sunday School class on Sundays.

Michelle: Awesome. Awesome. Looks like your mug is almost empty, let me get you a refill Was that coffee or tea?

BenCoffee, black with a small amount of water to cool it down.

Michelle: Absolutely. And may I offer you something to eat to go along with that coffee? What do you treat yourself with once you've written "The End" on a book?

BenHmm… Cookies :) Let me specify… Fresh baked M&M cookies from Albertson’s.

Michelle: Sounds delish, I think I'll join you. Thank you so much for visiting today, Ben. It's been great fun!

Stacy Simmons - Finishing her Story

Hello - I’m a new writer here on the Diamond Mine, and this is my first author interview.

There have been many fabulous authors featured, and I wanted to continue that trend. New and seasoned authors, best-sellers, historical, contemporary, and every genre in between.

As writers of Christian fiction, we carefully craft the full journey of our beloved protagonists. We identify the end goal and what we hope to accomplish, fill in the back story, toss in layers of tension and recognize the power of the obstacles getting in the way. We depict a strong arc where God is always present even in times of turmoil and most of all, we ensure that nothing stands in the way of the happy endings we long to see.

But in real life, our stories sometimes take a tragic turn and we’re caught completely off guard by the outcome. We no longer have control of our happy endings and are left to pick up the pieces to form a new story.

And that’s exactly where we’ll start today.

Please allow me to introduce you to my dear friend, Stacy Simmons. Stacy and I published our first novels within a few months of each other. We served on one another’s launch teams. We've learned the ropes together, even from a distance, since we first met at an American Christian Fiction Writer’s Conference in Nashville in 2016. Though I’ve only seen Stacy in person a handful of times, she was a constant source of encouragement to me and every other writer I know.

Stacy was just getting started when we suddenly lost her last October. She had asked her writing friends to pray for an upcoming surgery, and was thrilled to let us know when she was headed home a couple days later. But soon, we were shocked to learn something had gone terribly wrong. We lost her. Suddenly. Tragically. Without warning.

As word spread across the writing community, we found comfort in online posts by Stacy’s husband, Michael. As he worked through his own grief, his words beautifully expressed the depth of his love for Stacy and gave an inside peek into their lives together. Somehow, it helped us feel closer to her as we gathered at his feet to hear more stories. It seemed as if Michael himself was quickly becoming a writer as well.

Stacy’s writing career was just beginning to blossom, and we wondered what might happen to Book Two and Three of her inaugural Briar Creek series with Celebrate Lit. Book Two in the series, A Journey for Hope had been completed and it was already available for preorder on Amazon.

So what could possibly happen next?

Enter two new unsuspecting heroes of this story. Michael Simmons and Beth Collins – Stacy’s husband and sister. As they both find themselves battling unexpected battles and obstacles of their own,  they’ve dedicated themselves to making sure Stacy’s stories live on. They’ve taken it upon themselves to learn the ins and outs of book launches, the review process, and press releases.

In the midst of their own polarizing grief, they have become the main characters in a saga they never saw coming.

And today, they let us in on their deep, personal, and vulnerable journey to healing and making sure they finish Stacy's story in a way that will make her proud.

Me: I'm sure neither of you wanted to be in this position. When did you decide to redirect your grief to spearhead Stacy's book launch?

Beth: Stacy was an amazing writer, but she was also a very dedicated marketer. Her novella, Christmas in the Cotswolds, was published on October 18th, the day before her surgery. I had flown to Dallas to be with her for the procedure and she asked me to help create and post graphics on social media to support the launch while she recovered. Stacy gave me her passwords and showed me how to post on each of her social media accounts. Before that day, I had never posted on social media! Because God always has a plan, I believe that Stacy gave me access to her accounts and showed me what to do so I could help promote A Journey for Hope on her behalf.

Michael: At the time of Stacy’s passing I wasn’t sure where she was in the process of launching A Journey for Hope.  For me it was over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays I realized that we are behind and needed to get going, but wasn't sure where to start. Beth was awesome in researching what to do next.

Me: What have you learned about book launches since then?

Michael: Stacy was the Queen of book launches. She was often booked solid with writing, helping someone launch their book, taking care of the family, and working full time. She would tell me "I’m not doing any more book launches, I just don’t have the capacity to do anymore."  Later that week she would look at me and say “guess what, I’m on another launch team”. She couldn’t turn other writers down. I now have genuine respect for what goes into a successful launch.

Beth: Because Stacy was so organized, she left behind files with lists of contacts and instructions for how to conduct a successful book launch. This material was incredibly helpful but I now know that the people helping -- the launch team -- are the most important part of the launch. If you build a great team, you'll have a great launch! Stacy was blessed to have a wonderful group of friends in the Christian fiction community, and their support made all the difference. We were ecstatic that Stacy's book reached number three on the Amazon bestseller list for new releases in Women's Christian Fiction, and we can't thank our launch team enough for their amazing assistance.

Me: Since Stacy wasn't one to brag about herself, what would you like people to know about her?

Michael: Stacy was humble to a fault. She would be your biggest cheerleader and supporter. Every morning she would get up, grab her coffee and get on her phone and start reaching out to people via social media. She would use Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Text, and Email to connect with other writers offering encouragement and prayers for those who were going through tough times. The morning of her surgery she was checking in with a friend who was having medical issues. Stacy let them know she was praying for them.

Beth: After Stacy was called home, many people wrote touching tributes extolling her kindness, her encouraging nature, and her generous spirit. I would like people to know that Stacy was also very determined and strong. Beneath her gentle exterior, she was tough as nails! Stacy got her way, but she did it by listening to others and treating them kindly. People wanted to do things for Stacy because of who she was -- not because she pressured them.

Stacy was persistent and never gave up on achieving her dream of becoming a published author. As she often noted, her first "book baby" was ugly, but she kept writing and rewriting it until she got it right. The day Stacy received her three-book contract was one of the happiest days of her life and we were so thrilled for her! We know that if she were still here with us, Stacy would be promoting and posting so we want to honor her memory by publicizing A Journey for Hope.

Me: Of all that's happened since then, what do you think would make her most proud?

Michael: I never realized the impact that Stacy had on this large universe of writers. Since her passing so many have shared with me how she was such a shining light in their life and how she helped them through some dark days. I always knew she was one of the kindest people, I just didn’t know the breadth of reach she had.

Beth: As she looks down from Heaven, I know that Stacy is incredibly proud of her daughters' resilience. They lost their mother with virtually no warning -- an unspeakable tragedy -- and have adapted amazingly well, given the circumstances. Speaking on behalf of her entire family, we have been bolstered by the prayers of the many people who knew and loved Stacy. We cannot know why God called her home, but we do know that Stacy wants us to stay positive and live Christ-centered lives until that glorious day when we see her again in Heaven.

Me: What happens next, personally and with Stacy's writing?

Beth: There is still more Briar Creek Love on the horizon. Stacy left behind a half-completed manuscript for the final book in her Briar Creek Love trilogy, A Season for Grace. As she lay on her deathbed, I promised Stacy two things. First, that I would be a substitute mother to her two daughters. And second, that I would finish writing her third book. Fortunately, she also left behind a detailed chapter outline so I know how she wanted the story to progress and end. The members of Stacy's critique group (who attended her Celebration of Life service and have been so supportive) have agreed to help me as I undertake the daunting task of completing my sister's final book. A Season for Grace is scheduled for publication in January 2024 so I will need all the help I can get!

Michael: Personally, I along with our daughters, Jordan and Madison, are working on healing. Losing your best friend of 35 years is a shock to the system, so taking life one day at a time is what is happening now.

Me: How can we help her story to live on?

Michael:  Enjoy reading the books.  It’s pretty simple.  Stacy dedicated her available time to writing and improving her skills as a writer. I know if she was here she would enjoy the response so far to the second book launch.

Beth: Stacy's story shows that it is never too late to follow your dreams. You can accomplish anything you want through prayer, hard work, and dedication. In addition to reading her books and letting others know about them, I know Stacy would want everyone to listen to Jesus' urgings and find their purpose and passion. After her first book, A Promise for Faith, was published, Stacy was asked what she hoped her readers would take away from the novel. She replied, "To keep on pursuing what they'd like to accomplish, through faith and tenacity."

Even amidst the deepest grief, God continues to write the most meaningful and everlasting stories. Stacy would be blown away by the heartfelt comments people used to describe her. She'd be honored that readers appreciate her stories and are willing to spread the word.

Most of all, she'd be amazed by the selfless love of her sister and husband. This has all the makings of a classic. A bittersweet triumph filled with sacrifice, second chances and overcoming one's grief to learn, grow and move forward when you feel as if half of you is missing.

Personally, this is one story I will never forget. Raw and true, and still being written before our very eyes.

May God continue to hold Stacy's family closer than ever.

I am currently learning to play a mountain dulcimer. I’ve owned one since I was fourteen years old. I’ve decided to take some lessons to finally play the thing! :-)

2.    What is the quality you like the most about your heroine?

I like that she stands up for herself and that she’s flexible enough to allow Field to be who he needs to be.

3.    Being a writer is a busy life, isn’t it? I’m sure you’re working on something new to intrigue your readers. What’s in the works for you right now?

I am working on a novella that’s the sequel to Max my time travel romance published last year. It’s called Garrett. Next I will write the prequel novella for The Shopkeeper’s Widow series tentatively called The Dollmaker.

4.    Do you have a set writing time every day or do you write in a more organic way?

I now have the ability to write everyday, during the day. I’m working on settling down a specific time everyday. For right now, I’m happy to write everyday, during the day.

5.       What are the most number of words you’ve ever written in one day?

7,500. Boy was I tired after that, but I met my deadline!

Izzy James will give away one e-book copy of The Shopkeeper’s Widow to the winner of her giveaway who answers this question: What is your favorite genre to read?

Interview with Award-Winning Historical Romance Author, Jodie Wolfe

Today I'm extremely pleased and honored to feature historical romance author, Jodie Wolfe and feature her book about the Oklahoma Land Rush, To Claim Her Heart.

I'm a huge fan of audiobooks because I get stuck in traffic a lot. I also have to do a lot of mindless tasks prepping lessons as a special education teacher (cutting out pieces) and love listening to books when I do so. Guess what? I just ordered Jodie's book on AUDIO! It's featured in all sorts of places: Target, Apple, and Amazon's Audible! Wow! AND it's also a book included in the Audible Escape program.

I'm really looking forward to Jodie's next release, but while we wait, let's peek in on the chat we had about Oklahoma and To Claim Her Heart.

Historical + Humor = Karen Witemeyer!

I am so stinking excited! You won't believe who is on the Diamond Mine this week. Squee! Yes, I have Karen Witemeyer and the whole mine yards!  Wow, am I on cloud mine or what?! (Warning: more eye-rolling puns ahead.) No, seriously, she's one of my fav authors. Yep, folks, I'm writing shotgun with one of today's best Christian authors! Karen was named #1 Reader's Favorite Christian Romance Author by Family Fiction Magazine not to mention she's a two-time ACFW Carol Award winner.  Read on, my friends, like little Read Riding Hood, ready for adventure. (*wink*) I think you will love her too! Let's begin. Puns upon a time. . .

PT: Tell us, Karen, how you began writing and how you chose your genre.

KW: I'm not one of those authors who always knew she wanted to write. I was just a kid who grew up loving to read. And daydream. I never actually wrote any of my daydreams down. They just lived in my head. As I went through college, professors would complement my academic writing, planting seeds of an idea that maybe someday I'd try my hand at writing. God nurtured those seeds over the next several years where I never did more than jot a few ideas down in a journal. I completed two degrees and had three babies before God grabbed that dream out of the soil of my heart and forced it into the sunlight. My husband lost his job due to down-sizing while I was a stay-at-home mom with three preschoolers. I naively thought I could start writing and contribute to the family income while staying home with my kids, not realizing it would take six years to sign my first book contract. Six months later, my husband and I were both working full-time, but by then the writing bug had bitten, and I knew this was a path God wanted me to pursue. So I did. Genre was never even a question. Historical romance all the way. It was all I ever read and the only genre I wanted to write. From Little House on the Prairie to Anne of Green Gables to Christy, my heart has always belonged to historicals.

PT: Do you write on a laptop or PC? Office or random spots (and what ARE those random spots, J)?

KW: I have learned to be flexible with when and where I write, thanks to the day job and family. I'll use any computer readily available. At home, I use a laptop in its most literal form—in my lap while I sit on my bed with my back propped up against the headboard. Not the best for my posture, but the extra cushion provided by my memory foam mattress makes those long weekend writing binges possible.

PT: What’s on your screen-eyed monster right now? A new book? Editing? Marketing? Or all of the above? Or other?

KW: This interview question. Ha! Actually, I just turned in a manuscript on August 15 for the first book in a new series. The title is At Love's Command and it features an ex-cavalry officer and a female doctor. Lots of action and adventure in this one, with plenty of romance thrown in, of course. Since turning that in, I've been putting together two workshops that I will be teaching at the American Christian Fiction Writers conference in September. One focuses on adding humor to your writing (the fabulous Regina Jennings is my co-presenter), and the other focuses more on the spiritual side—overcoming the darts Satan likes to throw at authors such as doubt, discouragement, pride, envy, greed, laziness, and burnout. Yes, I battle all of those at different stages of the writing journey. As for the next writing project, I'm about to embark on a new novella called The Kissing Tree Inn. It will be part of a collection that spans about 150 years centered around a majestic tree similar to the Century Tree at Texas A&M.

Regina will be part of that collection as well, along with Amanda Dykes and Nicole Deese. This is my first time to work with Amanda and Nicole, and I'm loving every minute of it! Wonderful ladies with great ideas. This is going to be a fabulous collection.

PT: Favorite color, food, and hobby/activity?

KW: Favorite color – Purple.
Favorite Food – Dove dark chocolate.
Favorite hobby – Counted cross-stitching.

PT: Introvert/Extrovert and how does that feed into your writing?

KW: I'm a big-time introvert. I can turn on the extrovert powers when necessary (teaching at conferences, interacting with readers, writing retreats, etc.), but my natural tendency is to hide myself away. This is helpful for a writer since it's hard to be productive with a lot of people around, but it can cause serious challenges with other aspects of the business, such as marketing and networking. In my novels, you'll notice I lean toward small towns or even remote ranches. I never thought about that until now, but that's probably a reflection of my introverted nature. Introverted does not equal timid, however. At least not in my imagination. All my heroines are feisty and brave and rarely afraid to share their opinions. Traits I like to imagine are in my own repertoire, at least to a modest extent.

PT: Favorite Bible verse and why.

KW: This is a hard one. There are so many. There is one that I made into a mouse pad that stays by my computer. Thessalonians 2:4. This verse speaks to my writing mission. God has entrusted me with a message, one conveyed through story. It is His message, not my own, and I must constantly test my heart to ensure that the glory goes to Him instead of trying to keep it for myself. And as much as we write to entertain our readers and please our publishers, ultimately, we write not to please people, but to please God.

PT: Will there be a third book in the Patchwork Family Series? Perhaps Rosalind is going places? Hmmm?

KW: You know I can't just leave poor Rosalind hanging without giving her a happy ending.J  She will be featured in the novella, More Than a Pretty Face in the upcoming Harvey House Brides collection entitled Serving Up Love. The collection, featuring additional stories from Tracie Peterson, Regina Jennings, and Jen Turano, releases this November.

PT: Give five things about Karen Witemeyer that has nothing to do with writing. (This is my favorite equestrian, neigh!)

KW:
1. I was a band nerd through junior high, high school, and my freshman year of college until I met my future husband and switched to choir. Music is in my blood!
2. I love hiking to waterfalls.
3. My in-laws live right next door, and I LOVE it. J
4. I adore playing board games, especially when I win (my youngest had to get his competitive streak from somewhere).
5. I love cracking "punny" jokes with my oldest son. If my husband and youngest son roll their eyes, we know we've accomplished our mission!

Ah, which toadily explains the ribbiting puns.  Thank you, Karen for joining us! If you want to learn more about Karen Witemeyer and her books, click the links firmly, after all~loose links sink ships~last one I promise!  J

Karen is generously giving away one copy of More Than Words Can Say (within the U.S.) to one person who leaves a comment and their email address. Who can't be excited about that??!!

Life and A Dad for Christmas according to Wendy Davy (Giveaway!)

Christmas Arrives Early on the Diamond Mine

with Wendy Davy!

Please welcome award-winning author Wendy Davy to the Diamond Mine. She's celebrating the new release of her Christmas romance A Dad for Christmas and we want to celebrate with her! This book promised to be a diamond among the gems of Christian Fiction! I can't wait to get to know this writer. What about you?

Oh, by the way, she's giving away TWO (2) e-books of A Dad for Christmas after the interview! Make sure you check out the details below!

____________________________________________________________

Let's get started! This week's featured author is Wendy Davy, award-winning inspirational romance writer who enjoys outdoor activities and small town charm. As you read her books, you will visit special places close to her heart. No matter where her characters come from or where they take you, it will always be an exciting journey, page after page. Ms. Davy enjoys traveling and searching for new places to include in her stories.

RENEE: Welcome to the Diamond Mine, Wendy! I'm excited you could join us.

WENDY: Thank you for having me on your BLOG. I’m glad to be here!

RENEE: I love your picture. It reminds me of some lakes around my home. I like to hang out at the water too. Do you have a special place or cherished spot as well?

WENDY: My happy place is sitting on the dock at Smith Mountain Lake, VA while reading a book. I grew up spending much of my summers there and am fortunate to be able to still spend time there. My mom used to love it too and I have very fond memories of seeing her sit in her happy place and relax with a book.

RENEE: What a great memory. I have to say, nature is such an awesome place to relax and get in touch with the Lord...and regroup. I recommend it to everyone who feels overwhelmed with the rigors of life. That includes releasing a new book! Your books are fantastic, by the way. What is your biggest challenge as an author?

WENDY: My biggest challenge is staying focused. Life has a way of interrupting at the most inconvenient times. Like when I’m in the middle of writing an action scene and a neighbor rings the doorbell to bring back my dog who happens to love breaking through the backyard fence to go visit the neighbors hoping for a treat. (She’s escaped so many times I’ve nicknamed her Houdini.)

RENEE: LOL I can relate to that. I have a hard time focusing on my writing for other reasons. You seem to compensate well though! Congratulations on your latest book, A Dad for Christmas. What makes this book unique? How did you pick your setting for this one?

WENDY: The setting for my new story is in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Shenandoah Valley is a beautiful place that I’ve visited many times. I love nature and I enjoy using beautiful settings for my books.

RENEE: Oh, how gorgeous. I want to visit the Blue Ridge Mountains someday. I've heard they are wonderful. And your characters? How do you make them three-dimensional, realistic?

WENDY: I have a general idea of who my characters are when I begin writing a story. As I write I get to know them more and they come to life in my mind. They have strengths and weaknesses, fears and goals and I am sure to keep these traits in mind when writing about them.

RENEE: What do you have planned for our readers with A Dad for Christmas? I know I'm excited.

WENDY: I'm giving two e-books away! The first book goes to the first person who comments on this blog. The second book will be awarded by random draw from the rest of the people who comment thereafter! I will send the books out on December 1st when they become available.

RENEE: Woohoo, what an awesome giveaway! Did you here that, folks? A great book, no, two great books, up for grabs! Sorry, back to the interview... I've had to face a serious question recently, and I'm curious. What would you do if you couldn't write anymore?

WENDY: I would read and review tons of books for other authors. I appreciate support from others and have learned how vital reviews are for helping people decide which books to read.

RENEE: Readers and writers, they tend to go hand in hand, don't they? Okay, I have one last question for you then you can go back to writing your awesome books. What's your life goal?

WENDY: Well, that’s an easy question to answer and here I thought it would be a tough one... to have my books made into movies!

RENEE: That's a great one. I think that's my new goal too. :) It's movie time or should I say giveaway time?
